Europe Stands Up to Monsanto. Will Asia be Next?

While fields full of GMOs have become commonplace in the U.S., Europe has increasingly increased its active opposition against any unnatural seeds being sowed on the Continent. Surprisingly, Monsanto is listening. The large farming corporation told the German daily “Taz” that they are no longer lobbying for cultivation in Europe and are not seeking any new approvals for genetically modified plants.
